Interview Letter

If I were interviewed then I would have made a thank you letter like this. Dear PersonThatInterviewedMe,     Hello there! I am one of the students you have interviewed here at Information Technology High school or ITHS for short! Nice to meet you! I am a student from the CTE academy web design and I wanted to thank you for taking the time out of your day to interview me. I was very excited before my interview and was determined to pull it off and do my best! I feel I should be hired because of the skills I possess and have in my arsenal. These skills are working with programs like adobe photoshop, illustrator, and indesign. I have mastered the skills required to use these programs and could use it in any line of work I am given. So if you require someone for a specific job that is needed in any of these parts, I'm the person for the job. I get my work in on time and can get the job done. I could make designs top tier and also have high expectations for myself as do the em...

Project 5 - Brochure Reflection Journal

Project 5 was an assignment that required us young visual designers to use our skills and imply it into making a brochure about one of the world's major problems, all inside of InDesign. It was a fast thing so I had to decide on a topic fast. It took me a while to think of but what came to mind was natural disasters. Since they are big problems to a ton fo people and cause a lot of problems in the world, it was the perfect topic to work on! Plus, as a kid I was interested in natural disasters. I wondered what caused them and how did they form. it was a comfortable topic to go on about and do some research about. So therefore I used it as my brochure topic. The brochure was a little confusing at first for what you actually had to write about, but when the research was done it was clear what had to be written on it. The brochure was to be designed with the right amount of context and supporting visuals. I made sure the information I added was sufficient enough while doing my research...

CTE Expo Reflection Journal

Image
The objective of the CTE EXPO was to engage the freshmen into seeing what the Web Design Academy was made of and what were the benefits of joining. It was also to make their interests peak as they could be exposed to these special skills.  To prepare for the CTE EXPO I just ran through looking for my best business attire I possibly had because I knew how important this event was, During the actual event I grabbed freshmen attention by saying, "hello are you interested in learning more about the visual design part of the CTE academy?" I used that line pretty much all the time to get the attention of the freshmen who looked lost or confused. I think what went well was that most of the freshmen, all the ones I met with, had an interest in the subject because of the amount of questions they asked and how detailed their questions were. For next year's CTE EXPO it would be best to realign the table structure because the poster boards of the visual design class were in...
