Internship Summer 2019
Hello, my name is Brandon Wilson and for the summer of 2019, I worked at the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce. This company works with other companies to host networking events and connect with members. My job at this worksite was to manage their database. I had to make sure all of the company names on their website and descriptions were right and have proper grammar. I used many Microsoft excel spreadsheets to also log any data about the companies on their website that had their membership expire and etc. I also did research on different companies that the chamber could reach out to like cybersecurity companies and look up events that they could attend to find more people to network with. There were also many business events that we hosted at the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce that would be used for networking and getting to recruit new members into the chamber.
