CTE Expo Reflection Journal (Senior 2020)
The objective of the CTE Expo was to introduce the incoming freshmen of that year, to the CTE academies that the school has to offer them. These academies consist of important skills that can help them shape a future career in a technical field if they were interested. In order to prepare for the CTE Expo, I had created a pitch that I would use to introduce myself to the freshmen and get them interested in the stuff that we do at the Web Design academy. I started introducing them to the academy by telling them about the cool websites and videogames you can make with the skills you obtain in the academy. During the actual event, I was the one approaching the freshmen to welcome them to the academy.
