300 ppi VS 72 ppi

Resolution represents what physical size will the image display as, and how much detail will be visible. 300 ppi and 72 ppi are both resolutions that represent pixels per inch. Those aren't normal low and high resolution variants. What you have there, is two images that are identical, except that the low PPI thinks it's going to spread those 1280x768 pixels thinly across a large area and making it look more bigger, while the high PPI one thinks it's going to concentrate those 1280x768 pixels in a high quality print on one particular area of focus. However both of the resolutions have the same data.      Both of these resolutions mainly make a difference when you are outputting the image. If you’re printing you want to have at least 300 pixels for every inch of size you plan on printing. For screens you don’t want more than 72 pixels for every inch you expect to see. But when you open the image in an editor, the resolution displayed in the s...

Comparing PNG / JPG / RAW / and gif

PNG, JPG, RAW, TIFF and gif are all different file formats that are used to save photos. RAW files are processed directly from the camera's sensor thus they do not use compression. These images are in extremely high quality due to them being lossless. Lots of more qualities are shown like the shades of color, better representation of white balance, contrast, exposure and lots more. If you change RAW files they don't get messed up. The metadata, which controls the rendering, is changed but the original data of the file is not messed up. Used by most digital cameras as their normal format, JPEG is the most common file type which can be used online or for hard prints. Its lossy compression algorithm removes minute details that your eye is least likely to notice to save space. However, the compression ratio is adjustable so you can select the level of quality you want in your image. The high quality is great since you would have a smaller file size. In general, the compression i...

Windows VS Mac !!! Who wins !!!

Windows Versus Mac! Windows and mac are two different types of computers that are manufactured by different companies. They both can do many things the other can do but run in different ways. I will be looking into their strengths and weaknesses. When it comes to mac, it is more better when it comes to security, It is less vulnerable to viruses and other malware. Windows is usually run on different versions and is a large target for viruses and malware especially if it doesn't have an antivirus program. However, a windows computer costs less then a mac. Macs usually have expensive repairs, upgrades and other things that cost a lot compared to the price. Windows cost less for all of those things. Mac has a better operating system then windows that runs much cleaner, faster and more stable. However there is bigger selection of software available for windows then there is for mac. Mac computers are built with more better materials then windows and has more better quality. Windows ha...

Write minimum 2 paragraph explaining what is the difference between a region's, advance region's diploma and having a CTE endorsement in either one, What are the requirements for each one of them. How achieving a CTE endorsement would benefit you personally? What are the unique benefits of obtaining the CTE endorsement thru the Web Design Academy?     For a regents diploma you need 2 credits in LOTE and for the advanced regents diploma you need 6 credits however, because of being in this CTE class it would give you the extra credits and therefore only 2 LOTE credits are required. Obtaining the regents diploma shows that you have reached the minimum requirements needed to pass high school. Having the advanced regents diploma shows that you did better then minimum in high school. It can also save you alot of time and money when trying to enter college.         Having a CTE endorsement on either one enhances your diploma and also prepare...
