Power Skills - Synopsis

This course is preparing me for my future employment by teaching me what is the best way to act in a workplace to exceed the expectation of my employer. It is teaching me that you should show your employer you want to be at that job and you want to succeed. Employers tend to notice you if you have good communication skills, relaying information clearly to others, and it is one of the top rated skills in succeeding. They also teach us about teamwork and how working with one another will make us more successful in the workplace if we could work together with co-workers and achieve our goals. Also having connections personally will benefit you because you have no clue if it may be useful in the future. The classroom environment can simulate a lot of these things and prepare us for the future.
